Soon as you walk into the treatment center you feel a peaceful, welcoming energy. It’s very clean and tranquil. Katarina is usually there to greet you and there is very little wait time. I went in for neck/shoulder tension and digestive issues and am already seeing great results after 3 visits. For someone who doesn’t like needles, Katarina made me feel very at ease with the way she explained where she would be placing the needles and the gentle way she placed each of them. She has a wonderful touch with those needles! You barely even notice she’s put them in. She’s always happy to answer my questions and does a very nice job educating the patient about the specific treatment approach. She really knows her stuff and is very good at explaining things in a simple, interesting way. She places the needles in and then let’s you relax 30-45 minutes with gentle music and dimmed lights. The room is very cozy. Afterwards she checks in with you and comes up with a plan moving forward. You can feel that she really cares about your progress, really cares about helping her patients, not just getting you in and out the door. If you’re looking for a practitioner with great bedside manners, a caring and gentle approach, and tons of experience under her belt, I would strongly recommend Katarina Ryan.
